“Because forever was worth the wait” 🥹
A true statement for Steph & Jared who met in 2012 ‼️ on their first date at an irish bar in Bethesda. Over the last 14 years, they’ve been on so many adventures (over 120 trips!) and have hiked some legendary places - like rim to rim in the Grand Canyon and Kilimanjaro. In fact, their table numbers were actually names of many of their hikes! ⛰️

These two are active in their church and had their pastor officiate their wedding. They exchanged personal vows with their intimate wedding party of 2 and 2. J walked down to the strings version of fat bottom girls (lol) and the wedding had lots of homages to their beloved pup Arnie sprinkled through the day (as did the rain!) ☔️

It was a true pleasure to be a part of this one! 💙

For D & J’s wedding day, we definitely played between the rain showers - May can be finicky! 🌦️
Luckily it was timed perfectly to give us windows for an outdoor ceremony, partial cocktail hour and a sprinkle free jaunt down to the tent for reception and up to grab some delicious warm pretzels!🥨

I loved the way they incorporated their siblings into their day - with J’s sister officiating and D’s brother being bubble/beer boy (so sad I couldn’t capture it from the house) and then they gave toasts at dinner. They also paid tribute to all the mamas on mothers day - with the sweetest gesture of flowers at every woman’s place setting and a bouquet 💐 dedication to the mother of the bride and a toss to all the mother figures in the room! Just such a thoughtful couple!
