South Island friends! (Or friends who can travel to Christchurch). My mentor Miss Gen is teaching a Kazami-ryu weekend intensive in Christchurch 28th-30th of March.

This is the same style of Sh***ri I recently spent a week doing in Australia (Kazami-ryu).

If you can do a single column tie and have basic rope handling skills send me a message and I’ll forward you on to the relevant people for workshop info.

I will not be hosting any workshops with Miss Gen that are open to the public and my workshop with Kazami Sensei is completely full. So this may be your only chance this year to learn from one of the masters. I (Scarlet) am a junior teacher in this style and I do not offer weekend intensives like this. It is well worth the flight to Christchurch for this opportunity!!!

Tuesday and Wednesday classes are cancelled this week (28th & 29th January 2025). Ultimate beginners on Saturday February 1st will still be going ahead as scheduled.

There has been a subtle change to our Wednesday classes. If you are planning on attending solo you need to contact us in advance.

We run Tuesdays for self tying and Scarlet is available for private lessons at very reasonable rates. Showing up on a Wednesday and expecting to keep up with the rest of the class when you don’t have someone to tie with is not feasible

Wednesday classes are cancelled for the next 2 weeks and Thursday class is cancelled this week.

Tonight’s (9/08/2024) sapphic party is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We will be back next month. Sorry folks. This is the first sapphic we’ve ever had to cancel and we are gutted about it.

Reminder: there is no ultimate beginners workshop this weekend (7/10/2020). The October beginners workshop has been moved to the 28th as we have Kazami Ranki and Miss Gen teaching our level 2 and 3 students this weekend!
