After an intense few weeks of planning, yesterday the I Want Orange team delivered the largest public activation Watercare has ever undertaken.

Working alongside a highly dedicated client team, we seamlessly came together as one incredible whānau to bring this experience to life - and to deliver it safely, smoothly, and with real impact.

I’ve had a few people ask, “How have you already been through the NZICC a few times during construction when I haven’t even set foot in it yet?”

Well… newsflash - it’s because we’ve been working closely with the incredible team at the New Zealand International Convention Centre to bring one of our most prestigious events to their brand-new venue in mid-2026.

It’s been quite the journey to get here - and we’re thrilled to be hosting the first major large-scale awards ceremony at the NZICC… we are talking plans for 1,900+ pax gala awards

A huge thank you to the NZICC team and our visionary clients for taking the leap with us and confirming the event well before the venue officially opens (no pressure, right?!).

We’ll be making the formal announcement a little later in the year - but for now, it’s full steam ahead into planning mode. 👏
