Last week we were back at IMEX Frankfurt 2026 and it made us think that the first time we attended was nearly 20 years ago...

Honestly, this year’s show was one of the best we’ve had. It just proves that putting the time in before the event and filling your diary with the right meetings really does pay off.

Three busy days talking all things Malta with some great people, some who know the islands really well and others discovering them for the first time. Either way, it was brilliant to meet everyone, and we’re sure quite a few of those conversations will turn into future events here in .

It was our great honour and pleasure to support Professors Edward John Despott, Alberto Murino and Nikolaos Lazaridis during the organisation of the 2026 edition of the International AEM Malta. As expected, like last year’s inaugural, this large international congress focussing on minimally-invasive interventional endoscopy was a resounding success that attracted some 400 participants from 34 countries.

The event brings together the most innovative minds in the healthcare and the supporting industry for a programme designed to hands-on train doctors and nurses in cutting-edge endoscopic techniques using the latest state of the art equipment. Malta’s finest cultural venues served as the perfect picturesque backdrop to further embellish this highly prestigious educational event.

Congratulations to all those involved for hosting such a spectacular meeting and we very much look forward to next year’s International AEM Malta!

A big thank you to Simon Burleigh, James Dowson, Victoria Chappell and Tim Penrose for the warm welcome, seamless organisation, and exceptional hospitality. It was a pleasure connecting and sharing ideas with such a great group of 19 DMCs represented by DMC Advantage throughout the journey.

We were also delighted to stay at some fantastic properties along the way, including THE ALAN Manchester and Kaya Great Northern Hotel, London
who made the trip even more enjoyable.

Last week, we had the pleasure of showing a group of lovely MICE Agents around the Maltese Islands, together with our wonderful partners James Dowson and Victoria Chappell from DMC Advantage and our friends Luke Stanton and Valentina Mizzi from the glamorous, newly opened ME by Meliá Malta.

From exploring the historic to sampling a delicious selection of food and wines at some of our favourite local restaurants, it was a joy to showcase the many flavours of Malta. Over the three-day visit, our guests also discovered the charm of our sister island, , wandered through our UNESCO World Heritage capital , and explored the timeless streets of the old capital - giving them a taste of the many different sides of the Maltese Islands.
