September 11th — our first one together.
We couldn’t think of a better way to kick things off than with Dr. Banana.
So here are a few of our favourite bits from the world of Dr. B, picked by us.
Fra is a daytime lover at heart.
Dr. B at Dimensions, sun still up, everyone fully locked in — pure good energy. Exactly his kind of moment.
Basketball and the whole hip-hop culture around it hold some of Luca’s deepest memories from growing up. House came later, but those roots never really left — and that’s something he connects with Dr. B on.
Plus, that jumpshot is nastyyyy.
Andre went straight for the deep cuts. S4M07 — fresh, understated and just weird enough to keep you coming back to it. Right up his street.
Dr. B’s RA Pick is a standout set that Melvin and Patrik had blasting up and down, side to side for months in their flat.
Their favourite track from the set also happens to be on DRB22, a release on Dr. B’s very own imprint.
Beyond the records and the sets, this probably says the most about why we wanted Dr. B for this one.
Good people, good energy, no taking yourself too seriously. Exactly the kind of person we wanted to celebrate the first Tasteless × Mania.
Summer’s not over until Dr. B says so.
