Last night, my other half and I decided on a whim to head to to watch England… and it was AMAZING!
The result was obviously a bonus but what really got me pumped was the atmosphere. From the off, everyone was in such a good mood, singing together, celebrating and all rooting for the Three Lions to do well.
It reminded me of the weddings and ceremonies I do. A room full of people who might not all know each other, but they’re all there for the same reason, wanting to have the best time and cheering on their loved ones!
I’ll admit… it’s taken me a while to warm up to the World Cup this time around. I think, given where the world is at, I was worried it would create more tension. But yesterday was a lovely reminder that there is still so much out there to bring us all together than divide us.
Also, I may be biased, but no one can party quite like people from the Boro. Last night was absolutely offit… offit in a good way though!
