End of an era. Our doors have closed to you the lovely public.
Thankyou for all your kind messages and shared memories of our 37 years in Cross st.
I didn’t feel emotional until 2 young girls came in today and just wanted to buy something from “Forget me not” and I realised what an impression we’ve had on the public and the young girls that walked by our shop window dreaming of buying their wedding dress. Most of our brides now weren’t even born when we opened our door
And it’s been lovely having mums bring in their daughters now getting married because they had such happy memories having their own dress made 30ish years ago.
We have about another six weeks of work finishing off all the dresses and then ……
