Next Scene Films

I love to take photos in black & white every so often to tell a little bit of a story. The animal being alone, normally a winter photo and sometimes just because. Here are a few of the examples of my black & white photos over the years.

Our yearly £100 donation has gone towards connecting Brazil's Atlantic Forest appeal by the World Land Trust - such a great project to protect reserves and help species in Brazil.

Thank you to all the couples who have helped make this possible by booking with Next Scene Films this year. You have done something special for the planet.

❤️ WORDS FROM OUR COUPLES

Sometimes the best wedding moments are the ones you don't even realise are being captured.

Eilidh & Neil got married at Wedderlie House in August 2025, and their 5⭐ Google review included one of my favourite compliments:

“He captured so many beautiful moments - many of which we didn't actually realise he was filming in the moment!”

That's exactly how I want your wedding day to feel.

No constantly pointing cameras. No awkward posing. Just you enjoying your day while I capture what's happening naturally around you. 🎥❤️

They've watched their wedding films and trailers “so many times” since their wedding and said they bring back happy memories every time.

Thank you Eilidh & Neil. ❤️

At this wedding I got to work with the funny Gina Williams - Celebrant and the super talented Lou Rob Photo

🍂 AUTUMN BOOKING EVENT — FINAL WEEK

❤️ WORDS FROM OUR COUPLES

This one is a little bit special for me.

In October 2015, I got married at this very same venue. Apex Hotels Grassmarket in Edinburgh ❤️

Fast-forward to May 2026, and I found myself back there, this time behind the camera, filming Dillon & Lauren's wedding. 🎥💍

And then they left me this amazing 5⭐ review:

“Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with from the lead-up to our wedding and then on the actual day. Very easy-going and his work is just fantastic!”

They also booked me alongside Ashley-liv Jamieson Photography , and said the package was “literally worth every penny.” ❤️

But this bit might be my favourite:

“Book Matt ASAP as you will not regret it!” 🥹

Thank you Dillon & Lauren for trusting me with your wedding and for such lovely words.

It was genuinely a pleasure. ❤️🎥

🍂 AUTUMN BOOKING EVENT

My Autumn Booking Event is running throughout September.

If you're planning your wedding and are looking for a relaxed wedding videographer, I'd love to hear about your plans.

And if I've already filmed your wedding…

⭐ I'd love to hear what you thought too.

If you've left me a Trustpilot review before, I'd be incredibly grateful if you could copy or rewrite it on Google.
