As the sun sets over Norfolk tonight, a young crescent Moon will hang low in the western sky.

For thousands of years people watched for this first return of the Moon after darkness.

Farmers, sailors, travellers and storytellers all knew its appearance marked the beginning of a new lunar cycle.

Long before calendars, nature kept the time.

And all you had to do was look up.

🌿 Hidden in plain sight across Norfolk are dozens of Green Men.

These strange faces, formed from leaves, vines and branches, can be found carved into medieval churches throughout the county.

No one knows exactly why they are there.

Some see them as symbols of nature’s endless cycle of growth, death and renewal.

Others believe they are echoes of older folklore that survived long after Christianity arrived.

Either way, I love the idea that these ancient faces have been quietly watching Norfolk for hundreds of years.

Yesterday may have been one of the hottest days of the year ☀️🌿
But even through the heat, there was still something really beautiful about the day.

Thank you to everyone who came, supported small businesses, crafted with us, stopped for a coffee, had a wander, shared kind conversations and brought lovely energy into the space.

Oracle Tree is about creating something that feels welcoming, magical, inspiring and real — and yesterday felt full of that 🤍

Thank you to everyone who came and shared today with us at Oracle Tree 🌿✨

The sunshine was intense, the countryside was glowing, and despite the heat there was still something really lovely about the atmosphere today. Slow conversations, kind people, beautiful stalls, children crafting, iced coffees, laughter and little moments of magic throughout the day.

A huge thank you to every stallholder, visitor, helper and supporter who continues to be part of this community we’re building together. It never goes unnoticed 🤍

We’re already looking ahead to the next one, get it in your diary 20th September also we will be bringing you talks and workshops. ✨

And after months of planning, designing, messaging traders, moving tables around in my head at 2am and hoping people would actually come… we finally get to open the doors at 10am.

The weather is beautiful.
The countryside is glowing.
The hall is full of wonderful people bringing handmade things, kindness, creativity and good energy.

If you need somewhere to slow down for a few hours today, come and wander with us.

Bring the children.
Bring a friend.
Come for the coffee, the crystals, the tarot, the food, the atmosphere — or simply because something told you to.

I genuinely think today is going to feel really special 🤍
