A Fine Celebrant Hello I'm Edwina. As an independent Celebrant I create and conduct unique & personalised Wedding ceremonies and Funeral services.

You can have everything as you wish it to be for your special day and loved ones. Contact me to start your planning. My name is Edwina Johnson and I live in Norwich England. I’ve lived here for over 16 years after moving down from Yorkshire and in a vibrant suburb of the city with my fiancé Jonathan and our 2 dogs. After researching and meeting Celebrants for my Mother’s funeral and co-writing her Eulogy I became interested in Celebrancy as a career. With my background in Business Development, keen research skills and attention to detail coupled with the enthusiasm and dedication to running a successful Social Club I realised that those elements combined with my intuition, empathy and sensitivity would make the Celebrant role a perfect fit for me in my life now where personal fulfilment is priority. I love my job and look forward to helping make your occasions very special.

The weather was perfect and the vows exchanged were the most heartfelt tributes and promises I think I've ever heard 🥰

It is such an honour to be entrusted by a Funeral Director with the service for a family's loved one, but it's an extra privilege to be contacted directly by a grieving family to officiate at a private Memorial service.

Today was a perfect tribute to a much loved father, grandfather and friend with so many memories shared before, during and afterwards.

YOU’RE THE GHOST

There’s a part of the grieving process,
where your soul kind of leaves your body too.
As though it’s off searching for the one you lost,
somewhere in the ether.

You walk around,
doing all the right things,
putting one foot in front of the other,
living,
but it’s really as though you’re the ghost.

Perhaps you are.
Perhaps your soul searches,
until you find the one you miss,
and they tell you to go back and live.

So, when that numbness passes brave one,
maybe it’s time to do what you are told,
go back and live,
twice as hard.

You don’t belong there in the ether,
nor do you need to search for the one you lost,
they find you.
And when they do, you’ll feel it.
