Here at Channel Events our aim is to run engaging and accessible lifestyle events that drive lifelong, self-led participation in physical activity in the outdoors. We are driven by the belief and research that regular physical activity in the outdoor environment has massive physical and mental health benefits. We deliver outdoor events, not only because they are an awesome thing for you to participate in but because it is about much more than just event day, it’s a lifestyle choice. Setting yourself a goal which then leads to regular physical activity, enjoying the outdoors, joining clubs, meeting new people and training for the event makes positive changes in peoples lives. From the moment you enter one of our events you’ve made a lifestyle choice and what a great choice you’ve made, we look forward to seeing you on the start line!
Channel UK Events CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise with Community Interest Company status. Since it was first established as part of Channel Adventure it has grown in size and we have now fully incorporated Channel Events as a Community Interest Company (CIC) – A community interest company is a business with primary social objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the business or in the community. Channel Events has always been and will continue to be a not-for-profit company, who endeavour to make charitable donations to its partners such as The National Trust, Mountain Rescue and Caremoor for Exmoor to name a few. Channel Events are proud to bring you the following events; Man vs Moor, The Quantock Quake, The Exmoor Explorer, The Mendip Murmuration and The Exmoor Perambulation.
We pride ourselves on running professional events in amazing locations. Don't just be an entrant, be part of the family. Friendly and well organised events for the beginner through to the seasoned pro! Our passion is showcasing the stunning Somerset countryside through a range of adventurous activity events. Walk, Run, Ride and swim your way through Exmoor National Park, The Quantock Hills AONB and The Mendip Hills AONB.
