This weekend we head to Sweden 🇸🇪 for the 2026 Scandinavian Championships!

We created this competition together with in 2024. In Sweden 🇸🇪 Norway 🇳🇴 and Denmark 🇩🇰 sometimes it is hard to get a large amount of club teams together for a national championship and there have been some years where they haven’t been able to take place. So we had a dream to create a championship for all of Scandinavia where they not only compete for the title but also for places at the champions league! 🏆

For 3 years in a row now we have had 8 teams enter to compete which is fantastic! Riders have also come over to take part from France 🇫🇷 and England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 to ride at this competition which continues to grow a much bigger profile in the sport! Perhaps soon we welcome some riders from Finland 🇫🇮 who we have seen start recently! And a message to teams and riders from all over Europe, you are also welcome to come and join this competition in the future!

Last years final was incredibly exciting and was decided on a run off between Team Scandi 🇩🇰 🇳🇴 and Alleby 🇸🇪! Both of these teams have gone on to make the A final at the champions league where they’ve shown the world what they’re made of! It has also been a great opportunity for younger riders to compete in a really competitive competition. We’ve seen a super young team of Scandi Stars qualify and compete at this years champions league, which was magnificent and hugely beneficial to their progress in the sport!

Make sure to follow this year’s competition in the mg scoreboard! Send in some support for the riders and let’s see who will be the 2026 Scandinavian champion! 🏆

A beautiful way to end the 2026 season!

So much positivity and excitement at the 2026 European Pairs at Dallas Burston Polo Club 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and we think probably the fastest running arena we have ever had!

A masterclass win in the under 12s this morning was followed by a tight under 18s final with 2 points in it going into the last race!

Even tighter in the following under 15s final where the top two pairs were tied going into the final race of sword! And then an open final where 5 out of the 6 pairs all had the lead at some point during the final before a lead opened up towards the end!

Well done to the 2026 Champions:
Open - Eleanor Wheeler & Mitch Lyons 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
U18 - Aaron Kelly & Taryn Barker 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
U15 - Fenella Adkins & Ava Jones 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
U12 - Rowan Davies & Lucia Norton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Highest placed overseas - John Hamilton & Niall Hughes 🇮🇪
Em trophy - Sadie Hyland & Marie-Louise Hughes 🇮🇪

Huge shoutout to the STRUK team this weekend! Even with the wind challenging us on the Friday and Saturday flying through the sessions before the most perfect competition weather for the finals day! ☀️

Next years competition heads back to France 🇫🇷 at Centre Équestre de la Bonde in July 😀👍

That’s STRUK over and out for our 2026 competitive UK season! We head to Sweden 🇸🇪 next! And then we look forward to seeing you over our winter pairs competitions starting at the end of October as riders get ready for 2027!
