💛 Today we welcomed ADSS, the chosen charity of Redlibbets Golf Club, for their monthly Memory Café ☕️

It is always such a joy having them at the club - after a good catch-up over tea and cake, many stay for a bite to eat, and then a few of us head out for a bit of fun with crazy golf! ⛳

Sadly the pesky rain got in the way today 🌧️ so we didn’t get to play… but we did get this fab photo of me and the crazy golf gang - there are usually around 10 of us! 📸💙

Already looking forward to our next session — fingers crossed for sunshine! 🌞

⛳️ FAWKHAM PRIMARY… YOU WERE FABULOUS! 🏆🎉

Today marked our last golf session of the school year at Fawkham Primary (Redlibbets adoped school) — and we went out with a BANG! 💥 Over 100 children took part in our epic Team Golf Olympics… and wow, did they bring the energy! 🙌

🏌️‍♂️ Drive Challenge: 5 points for hitting the fairway… zero for missing.....working on your accuracy is key in golf!
🎯 Pitching Game: The trickier the shot, the more points (run brilliantly by Coach Katie!)
⛳️ Putting Pressure: A fun putting challenge delivered with style by Valerie!

Each team had to come up with their own golf name — and the creativity was on fire! 🔥
From The Winning Golfers to Golf Champions to Super Golf Stars — the Sparkle Girls just had to be included too!

A fantastic day filled with teamwork, energy, and a bit of healthy competition — the perfect way to round off our school visits for the year! And yes… we definitely ended with a conga! 💃🎉

💚 We can’t wait to welcome the entire school to Redlibbets in September for even more golfing fun! Let the countdown begin...

✅✅We are delighted and privileged to again host the Wooden Spoon Kent annual golf day.⛳🏌

☀👍The charity is dedicated to changing the lives of children and young people who are disadvantaged due to disability, poverty, or social exclusion in Kent.

🥰More than 100 players teed it up this morning in cloudless skies before enjoying lunch and a charity auction.👍

✅✅Great day had by all. ☀

⛳️Absolutely privileged to host the annual The Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund golf day here at Redlibbets. ⛳️

🙌The charity offers face to face mental health counselling to 13-18-year-olds living in or attending school in Gravesham. 👌

In 2024, 172 young people were provided with vital counselling services, all without public sector funding. There is no comparable service in the UK.

EHMF was inspired and established by Peter Scutts and Kerry Holmes, who lost their son, Elliott to su***de in 2020 after failing to access the support he needed.

💜🧠 National Dementia Week at Redlibbets 🧠💜

Here at Redlibbets Golf Club, we are proud to support National Dementia Week and shine a light on the amazing community we are building through our Memory Café, supporting the wonderful charity ADSS.

Every month, we open our doors to those living with dementia and their carers — creating a safe, welcoming space where laughter, connection, and joy take centre stage. 🌿☕️

This morning, our Memory Café group came together for a chat, a singalong and a cuppa, followed by a bite to eat... and then some golf fun out on the range!

🎯 Today’s game? The Grand National! 🐎 We chipped over little “jumps”, followed by a driving challenge — and WOW, they absolutely smashed it down the fairway! 💪⛳️

It’s all about confidence, movement, smiles, and feeling part of something. And it’s a privilege to host these moments every month 💚

As part of the Get Golfing CIO family, our Memory Cafés are now running across six golf clubs, with plans to expand across all venues by the end of the year.

Because everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and included.
