Built in the early 19th century by the Duke of Norfolk, Brandshatch Place is an elegant Georgian red brick house set in 12 acres of grounds. But, as you may expect from one of Kent's finest country house hotels, there is much more to this destination than simply refined architecture. The red brick of Brandshatch Place has seen Christmas come round every year since 1806.

The first glass is poured. Greenery is gathered for the house and wreaths go up along the front steps. Our team takes care of the cooking, decorating and hosting, so the days are yours to spend together.

Our Christmas Stays offer two or three nights over Christmas itself, with a Ch*****ne reception, Christmas lunch and seasonal dinners, and time to enjoy the festivities at your own pace.

At other times between 1 November and 29 December, our Festive Escapes of one, two or three nights begin with mulled w**e on arrival. Breakfast each morning, a room upgrade, use of the spa and credit to spend on dining, drinks or treatments are all included.
