THE TRUTH IS… WE’RE CELEBRATING THE MEMORIES🖤
After years of unforgettable nights, friendships, laughter, packed dancefloors and more memories than we could ever count, Steven and I have made the decision to close the doors of Truth Nightclub and our associated venues in Leven.
While this marks a new chapter, we want to focus on everything we have shared, created and achieved together. Truth was never just a nightclub to us. It became a huge part of our lives, and over the years it became part of yours too. We watched people celebrate birthdays, engagements, hen nights, stag nights and reunions, and probably a few nights they would rather forget. 😂 We saw friendships form, relationships begin, staff grow in confidence and people who first walked through our doors as customers become part of the Truth family.
And when we look back, we’re proud of just how much Truth came through. We made it through Covid, lockdowns, restrictions, changing trends and some of the hardest years hospitality and nightlife have ever faced. In an industry where venues can change hands more times than anyone can keep count of, we kept Truth going, kept its identity and kept those doors opening. That is something we will always be incredibly proud of.
Through some incredibly challenging years for hospitality, particularly for nightlife in a smaller town, your support meant everything. Every visit, ticket bought, drink shared and night spent with us helped bring Truth to life. We will always be grateful for the energy, loyalty and enthusiasm you brought through our doors.
To every member of staff who worked a bar, cleaned up after closing, stood on a door, DJ’d until the early hours, took photos, promoted events, supplied us, fixed something at the last minute or helped behind the scenes, thank you. Your hard work, dedication and personality made every night possible and helped make Truth what it was.
And to every person who ever walked through our doors, whether you joined us every weekend or only visited once, thank you for being part of our story. The memories, friendships, celebrations and experiences created inside those walls will stay with us forever.
As we look ahead, please continue to support your local pubs, clubs, restaurants and venues wherever you can. A like and a share is appreciated, but the reality is, it is not enough. Local venues survive because people walk through the doors, buy a drink, book a table, buy a ticket and actually use them.
These places bring people together, create jobs, give people somewhere to celebrate and help make our communities what they are. If you want them to still be there tomorrow, support them today. That’s the reality of hospitality now.
For now, we want to say thank you. Thank you for the nights, the laughter, the friendships, the celebrations and the memories. Thank you for allowing Truth to become such a special part of our lives and for helping us create something we will always be proud of.
Truth may be closing its doors, but the spirit, stories and memories created there will live on. This is not just an ending. It is a celebration of everything Truth has been and everyone who helped make it special. 🖤
