A glimpse of Pratis outside the Barns today... Michaela and Josh are at 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, chatting to the next generation about what it’s really like to work in hospitality and the opportunities that come with it.

It’s something we’re really passionate about at Pratis 🌿 We work closely with local high schools and support 𝗡𝗘𝗙𝗖𝗔 and 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 (𝗗𝗬𝗪), helping young people discover hospitality and see just how many different paths a career in the industry can take.

Hopefully, we can inspire a few future hospitality stars!

Five years on, same spot, same smiles... Pratis connections really do stick around. On the 1st May 2021 Gemma & Jamie were here with us getting married, to the lovely surprise of seeing them back at the Barns as guests at another celebration!

Moments like this remind us how lucky we are to play a small part in so many people’s stories. Getting to meet our couples at such a special point in their lives and build those relationships is a huge part of what we do.

Every now and then, they walk back through the doors and remind us how big a part they become of our story too 🤍🌿

We’re hiring! 👋 We’re looking for an Events & Wedding Coordinator to join the Pratis team.

Working with couples and clients from that first enquiry right through to the big day, helping bring weddings and events to life and generally making sure all the little details come together.

If you’re organised, people focused, calm when things get busy and think you’d fit in rather nicely at the Barns, we’d love to hear from you.

Meetings are better when there’s good food involved. At Pratis, food is at the heart of what we do... and that doesn’t change when work is on the agenda.

𝘍𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨: 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 🌿

Our kitchen team prepares everything from scratch. From breakfast rolls and pastries waiting when you arrive, to homemade soup, sausage rolls, sandwiches and something sweet to finish... we like to make sure the food is doing its bit to keep the ideas flowing, the conversations going and everyone suitably well fed. 🥐☕🥪

A great day of work should be remembered for more than just the meeting.

It’s becoming quite the Pratis Christmas tradition. Now in its 5th year, our 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 is back and this year Becca & Erin from Simply Pottering are taking the reins.

Our resident florists and flower growers will guide you through creating your very own Christmas wreath using flowers grown on their farm, alongside locally sourced and foraged seasonal materials. 🌿✨

And because crafting is always better with a little extra... your ticket also includes a glass of mulled w**e or Prosecco, homemade soup, a festive scone and a sweet treat. 🍷

Bring your mum, your bestie, your colleagues, your crafty other half... or just come and treat yourself to a very festive couple of hours at the Barns.
