Big news from Sandstone, Church Street, Frodsham.

From Monday 29 June, we’ll be open 7 days a week.

Yes, 7. The full set. The whole week. The café equivalent of Britain getting colour telly, decimalisation and the first Greggs sausage roll all in one go.

Breakfast, lunch, coffee, treats, eat in, takeaway, and the kind of food that makes “I’ll just pop in quickly” turn into a small personal event.

Doing a platter for a joint celebration tomorrow, and I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Sandwiches, wraps, fruit, quiche, savouries, skewers, and enough picky bits to make Henry VIII cancel a banquet and ask for a takeaway box! 👑

Guys, pop down early today for your breakfasts and brunches. 🌞

I may be closing a bit earlier than usual because it’s due to be about 8 million degrees out there, and cooking in the kitchen currently feels very similar to being slowly grilled by my own menu. 😛

The canopy is up, so there’s shade outside if you fancy sitting out without turning into soup.

Come along early, eat nice things, and please accept my face may look fully microwaved by lunchtime.

This week’s spotlight goes to a very special new visitor… Remy 🤍🐶

Just look at that face! 😍

Remy recently popped in to visit us and completely melted everyone’s hearts. As a young puppy, she was on her very best behaviour and enjoyed meeting lots of new friends during her visit to Sandstone ☕🐾

Remy is proudly owned by our very own Heidi, who has done an amazing job training her already 👏💕 For such a young pup, her manners were impeccable and she was an absolute superstar throughout her visit.

With those gorgeous puppy-dog eyes and sweet nature, it’s safe to say Remy was an instant hit with both customers and staff alike 🥰

We have a feeling this beautiful girl is going to become a regular favourite here at Sandstone Frodsham 🐶✨

I’m taking this as feedback, because nobody clears a table that fast for average sandwiches. 😛

Huge thanks to everyone who came along and absolutely flattened the sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes and anything else that stood still long enough.

Tomorrow it’s the Frodsham Food & Drink Festival. Get out, support local, eat something nice and enjoy yourself.

Today though… today’s about the Sandstone Café.

Breakfast’s on. Lunch is waiting. So are we. 👀☕🥪🍰

It’s absolutely hammering it down in Frodsham. The pavements have turned into open water swimming qualifiers.

You need to be sat by the window at the Sandstone Café – warm, dry, caffeinated, and watching people sprint past with umbrellas turned inside out.

Pop in today and get breakfast wrapped (pun intended) up properly.🍳

Sausage, bacon, egg, hash browns and melted cheese, wrapped up and served hot, because dry cereal while staring out your kitchen window isn’t a lifestyle.
