RIOT EVENTS × ESME’S CAKES & BAKES

Something wicked this way comes… and apparently it brought cake. 👀🧁

We’ve teamed up with the ridiculously talented Esme’s Cakes & Bakes to create a limited Halloween collection combining spooky bakes with a little Riot magic.

Think creepy cupcakes, gruesomely good treats, Halloween gift boxes and plenty of spooky details — all beautifully packaged alongside a signature mini or standard balloon stack to make Halloween a little more extra. 👻

Perfect for Halloween parties, half-term treats, movie nights, gifting or hiding in the kitchen and eating after the kids have gone to bed. We don’t judge. 😂

Two local businesses.
One spooky little collaboration.
Absolutely no intention of being subtle. 💅🎃

Just popping on to show off a few of our recent Riot creations… 👀🎈

A little bit of racing, a little bit of Halloween, diggers, cherry blossom and even some balloon-free styling thrown into the mix — because apparently we don’t like doing the same thing twice. 😂

We’ve had some brilliant bookings lately and honestly, one of our favourite things about Riot is never quite knowing what you lot are going to ask us to make next.

Got a birthday, party or event coming up? Or just an idea that starts with “this might sound a bit mad, but…”

Those are usually our favourites. 😏

Drop us a message and let’s see what we can create.

And it’s lights out… and away we go. 🏁

Liam is FIVE — and apparently five comes with a need for speed. 🏎️💨

This is one of our premium single number stacks fab on budget and if limited on space. Electric blue, racing red, black and silver, with hand twisted ‘racing track / stripe’ black and white details, a rogue tyre and one little race car causing absolute mayhem at the finish line.

Happy 5th Birthday, Liam! 🖤🏁

Birthday balloons, but make them full throttle.

Celebrate loud. Celebrate beautifully.

🎃 BALLOONS TO DIE FOR. 🖤

Halloween has officially entered the Riot era… and subtlety was never invited.

Glowing pumpkin trick or treat bucket, ghostly guests, bats, pumpkins, webs and a whole lot of balloon chaos — because if you’re going spooky, you may as well make a scene. 👻🦇

Whether it’s a Halloween party, creepy little celebration or something gloriously over the top, we’re here for the drama.

…. And the pumpkin bucket? She’s a bit special.

This isn’t balloons wrapped around a hidden frame or structure — the entire 3D bucket is constructed solely from balloons. No internal framework, no solid base doing the hard work underneath.

It’s built using technical balloon construction to create the shape, strength and structure entirely from the balloons themselves… and it’s big enough for a child to actually sit inside. 👻

Basically: part decoration, part sculpture, part ridiculous Halloween photo opportunity.

Celebrate loud. Celebrate beautifully.
…even from beyond the grave. 💀

When you’re 3 and diggers are basically your entire personality! 🚜🖤

Especially when your Dad is your Hero!

Noah’s birthday brief was very clear:
BIG number 3. Diggers. Construction.

So obviously we understood the assignment. 👷‍♂️✨😎

Black, mustard, chrome, sandy, dusky blue / Grey and a whole lot of construction chaos for one very digger-obsessed birthday boy.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Noah — hope your day is filled with loads of fun. 😏🚧

Celebrate loud. Celebrate beautifully.

We’ve been plotting a little Halloween mischief with Esme’s Cakes & Bakes and, safe to say, it’s going to be a very sweet kind of chaos.

Think spooky treats, Riot styling, balloons, Halloween nonsense - something a little bit special for October. 🖤🧡

We’re not giving everything away just yet… but this is your first little sneak peek.

Coming soon for October.
Keep your eyes peeled. 👀

A little change behind the scenes at Riot ♻️

We create a lot of big, beautiful things from balloons — but we’re also very aware that what happens after the party matters.

That’s why we’re introducing TerraCycle into the way we work, allowing us to send our balloon waste into a specialist recycling stream rather than simply putting it into general waste.

The materials TerraCycle recovers can be processed into raw materials used for new products such as flooring, playground surfaces, outdoor furniture and more.

It doesn’t make balloon décor impact-free — and we’re not going to pretend it does. But it does mean we can make better choices, reduce the waste we send to disposal and keep improving the way Riot operates.

Celebrate loud. Celebrate beautifully….
and leave a little less behind. ♻️🖤

🌈✨ WE WOULD LOVE TO CREATE A NEON PARTY! ✨🌈

This is an idea we’ve actually had tucked away for quite a while… but sometimes you see something that brings an idea straight back to life! 💡💗

While I was away on holiday, I visited a mini golf place in Weymouth, and I was completely WOWED by the neon colours, UV lighting, glowing artwork and the incredible atmosphere. 🌈🩷💚💙🧡

It instantly reminded me of an idea we’d previously had at Riot Events — creating an amazing NEON-THEMED birthday party or celebration! 🎉

Imagine walking into a party filled with glowing colours, neon balloon décor, UV lighting, paint-splatter backdrops, photo areas and bright pops of colour everywhere. 🤩✨

It could be fun, bold, slightly crazy and completely different!
And it certainly wouldn’t have to be just for children. A neon theme could look incredible for birthdays of all ages, teen parties, milestone celebrations, discos or just an excuse to PARTY! 🪩🎶

These photos have given us so much inspiration and made us want to bring this idea to life even more.

So… who would let Riot Events create their very own NEON celebration?! 👀🌈

If this sounds like your kind of party, drop us a message — we would absolutely LOVE to create one! 💗💚💙

Celebrate Loud. Celebrate Beautifully.

🚀✨ TO INFINITY… AND THREE! ✨🚀

What better way to celebrate turning THREE than with a birthday full of colour, balloons and a little bit of space-ranger magic! 💫🎈

We absolutely loved creating this Toy Story-inspired balloon stack, complete with a huge number 3, rocket, clouds, cow-print balloons and, of course, a very special space ranger sitting proudly on top! 🚀☁️⭐

But our favourite part has to be seeing the birthday boy enjoying it! 🥹💙 Those smiles are exactly why we love doing what we do.

At Riot Events, it’s not just about creating a balloon display — it’s about adding that little extra bit of magic to their special day and creating memories for families to keep. ✨

🎈 Happy 3rd Birthday! 🎈

We hope your day was out of this world! 🚀🌟

Making your celebrations a little more RIOT! 🎉

Things got weird in the workshop….. Again. 🕷️

No client.
No brief.
No adult supervision.

Just a giant spider, a light up toxic cauldron, one aggressively cheerful pumpkin and an entirely unnecessary number of eyeballs.

Exactly as nature intended.

We were only supposed to be having a little play with Halloween ideas, but apparently Riot doesn’t really understand the phrase “keep it simple.”

So now we’re emotionally attached to a radioactive cauldron.

Excellent.

Would we make it bigger?
Obviously.

Would we add more chaos?
Also obviously.

Would we recommend standing directly underneath the spider?

Absolutely not. 😂

Halloween at Riot is loading…

Celebrate loud. Celebrate beautifully.
