R + E flew all the way from Israel to Glasgow to have their pre-wedding reception (is that what it’s called? 🤷‍♂️) with R’s family and friends.

Perfect, chilled evening with lovely people and fantastic music from Little Red.

Thanks to Cerys and her team at The Corinthian Club for making my job super easy and the evening perfect.

Five shoots in and it always feels like catching up with old friends.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of photographing this lovely lot since their wedding day and seeing their family grow over the years is easily the best part of this job. For our latest outing, we took a wander through the heart of Edinburgh from The Scotsman Hotel where they were originally married to the cobbles of Cockburn Street to the views from The Mound.

I really love documenting these familiar faces as the years roll by. No stiff poses, just plenty of running about, a few shoulder rides, and the general chaos of a family day out in the city.

Honoured to be your family photographer for another year. Here’s to many more.

What started off as a beautifully sunny day turned into an epic downpour and epic double rainbow (even if slightly faint).

M + K (originally from Australia) came through to Edinburgh from Glasgow for their engagement shoot. It was already postponed once due to Storm Dave so I had my fingers crossed that even if it rained it would only last 5mins in typical Edinburgh fashion… I was more or less right.

This is the best way to spend an evening: with two fun, interesting and wonderful people in the heart of a historic city and finishing with a pint in the pub.

Sometimes we need to help each other out in the wedding industry, being self-employed is hard. It’s great when you find other wonderful business who can step in when you need it.

A day that felt like a modern-day fairytale on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

I’m loving winter weddings, the soft glow of candlelight, the rich textures of tweed and lace, and that intimate, cozy atmosphere that brings everyone together. This was not a wedding of quiet, nervous anticipation during the morning prep, it was full of giggles, jokes, laughter and silliness. Then we got to the ceremony which was equally joyful with a traditional handfasting and later, those spontaneous moments on the dance floor.

A massive thank you to the newly-wedded couple for letting me capture these memories, and to the incredible team of vendors who made it all look so effortless.
