Tomorrow evening, the District will come together at the Cenotaph in the Square at 7.00pm to remember the 344 members of our Institution who were cruelly taken from us during the Troubles.
As we remember them, we also remember their families — those who have had to live on with the unimaginable loss and the gaping hole left in their lives by these barbaric acts of terrorism.
We ask you to take just 20 minutes from your evening and join us in the Square as we pay our respects and remember those who never came home.
This is not solely for Orangemen and Sisters. It is for the whole community. We remember family, friends, neighbours and fellow members of our community who were cruelly taken from us.
We also remember those within our Institution who lost loved ones who were not themselves members of our ranks, and the lasting impact those losses have had on their families and friends.
344 lives. 344 families. 344 stories.
Always Remembered. Never Forgotten.
