Where do I start? So this subject has been circulating the balloon industry this last week and I wanted to share with you how important it is to support small businesses wherever you can. This particular high street store are offering balloon columns/stacks etc for a price shown in the photos. Before I criticize the cost I do understand that at least three parties are involved (the third party supplier who make the stacks, the high street store who sell them and the courier) who all need to make a profit. But seriously? There are many balloon artists out there including myself who put so much more time, detailing, designing, not forgetting time it takes for the communication between clients, arranging supplies, insurance etc etc that get ghosted when we supply quotes. After seeing these I will never question my prices.
This is a prime example of why you should, if possible support local businesses🙏
