We’re headed into full season prep mode over here and Sunday kicks it all off with our first staff training day of 2026! New faces, familiar ones and a whole lot of excitement about what we are about to build together. Im in for it all - our themed weekends, lessons, wins . . . 😬 Going to Ruffle a feather or two but after 15+ years in this industry, I’ve heard some things that honestly keep me up at night - in a genuine “I care about what happens to your wedding” kind of way. Because most couples don’t see the signs until it’s too late.

Quotes that give me chills 🪦
🆘 “Day of Coordination” -> Showing up the morning of your wedding cold is not coordination, it’s a gamble. We start minimum 45 days out because you deserve someone who KNOWS you and your vision.

🆘 “Let’s copy your Pinterest” -> cookie cutter is cool for making cookies, not for making weddings matter. Design is kind of our thing and we look to tell your story from big picture to tiny detail.

🆘 “My Vendors will just know” -> Oh, hell naw! We trust that you hired professional vendors but are they on the same page? We check in to ensure everyone has the correct information so they can step onsite clear and confident.

🆘 “It’s just a Timeline” -> 🤨. Each wedding we touch deserves a custom, minute by minute playbook - one with plan A, B (and sometimes C) because being prepared means smooth ex*****on.

🆘 “Your One Stop Shop” -> Hats off to those who do it all. Us? We specialize in Planning and Production-based Design - the rest goes to those we know who do it best!

Wedding Planning is one of the most significant investments you make - emotionally, financially and in memories you carry for the rest of your life. You are trusting someone with a day that can’t be redone.

My word for 2025 was Align and it truly shaped everything. 🙏🏻

2025 wasn’t about doing more.
It was about doing what mattered - and doing it well.

The numbers tell one part of the story: events executed, kilometres driven, hours spent virtually planning 🫠, and budgets supported.
But what they really represent is trust.🤍🤍
Conversations held and connections made.
Decisions executed with care.
And the most precious moments carried long after the day ended.🥹

I’m deeply grateful for the clients who trusted us with their stories for another season, and for the vendor teams who showed up with professionalism, kindness, and shared passion throughout the season. Not to mention, my incredible Team at WS (Natalie N, Hayden, Lauren, Natalie L, Sydney and Sarah) who danced through the lightning strikes and made magic come alive. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

I closed 2025 feeling grounded and so thankful for a year that reminded me why this work matters to me. It matters so deeply that I keep showing up with all that I am over and over 🤍

2026, I can not fricken wait 🥰

Fall feels black and white to me 🖤🤍 vs Amber and gold.

J + M took that palette to heart, and wow… it paid off in every possible way. Their wedding was pure, timeless magic. Striking, authentically them, and still so grounded and intentional. I was deep in the newborn stage when they hosted their day (forever grateful to my incredible team who stepped in to bring it to life 🫶), but I can’t stop looking back at these stunning black and white captures by .

I feel so lucky to share in moments like these with my couples. A small but sacred chapter in the bigger story of their lives. We may not work together again in quite the same way, but I still find myself cheering them on from afar: watching as they build new homes, chase new adventures, and welcome little ones 🥹🥹 that expand and soften the love that started it all.

People often say, “it’s just one day.”
But it’s not.
It’s a moment that catapults love into its next phase. A spark that carries forward in a thousand small, beautiful ways.✨

I’m still possibly a little hormonal 😂 but to all my past clients - Thank you. 🙏 For trusting us, for letting us in, and for reminding me again and again why this work matters. And for letting us pop in every now and then to cheer you on through all your next best moments.

This summer didn’t tiptoe in. . . it came crashing like a wave.
Fast, full, and wildly alive.
Loud.
Filled to the brim with the sweetest sips of joy…
and the kind of heartbreak that rearranges you.
Tiny fingers and toes turning into first steps and new skills.
Nostalgic songs belted in unison.
Stories told, not through speeches, but in details so small and so bold.
The hardest, deepest goodbyes said far too soon.
Fresh candlesticks melted to nothing, leaving only the hush of tired conversation.
Connection. Gratitude. Core memories.

It’s been a freight train of moments - beautiful, jarring, joyful, messy.
At times, I’ve felt wobbly in the whirlwind, like I can’t quite catch my footing.
But here’s what I’m learning
This unsteadiness? This stretching and shifting?
This is realignment. 🤍

I’ve realized that I have shared very little in this space over the last few months
Truthfully, Ive been DEEP in these moments. Cherishing them. Soaking them in. Grateful and in Awe. Selfishly hoarding them?

But with this season coming to a close, it might be time - gosh do I ever have epic amounts of love to share. 🥹
