Kootenay Wedding Company is Hiring!

We're looking for someone to join our team as a Wedding Coordinator Assistant with the goal of growing into a Lead Day-Of Coordinator.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves weddings, is organized, dependable, and wants hands-on experience in the wedding industry.
What to expect:
✨ Weekend availability required throughout the summer and fall
✨ Training and mentorship provided
✨ Work alongside our team on weddings and events
✨ Learn wedding timelines, vendor management, ceremony coordination, décor setup, and problem-solving
✨ Assist with planning and coordination leading up to wedding days

During the 2026 season, you'll be training and co-coordinating weddings alongside our team & Working behind the scenes prepping for events during the weekdays. The goal is for you to confidently take on your own weddings as a Lead Coordinator for the 2027 season.

We're looking for someone who:
• Is organized and detail-oriented
• Has excellent communication skills
• Can stay calm under pressure
• Has reliable transportation
• Is able to lift and move décor items when needed
• Loves working with people and being part of special events
• Has wedding or event experience (an asset but not required)
📍 Based in the Kootenays
📅 Seasonal Part-Time Position (2026/2027 and on)
