Galbraith Florist has been offering the Saint John, New Brunswick area superior floral arrangements and assortments since 1961. Because we are a small, local shop, when you choose us, you can always expect to be treated more like a family member and less like "just another customer." Our deep-rooted passion for

flowers, along with our dedication to service, makes us the ideal choice for any occasion! Back in the 1960′s our flower shop was known as “Gordon’s Flowers”. In the 70′s the name was changed to “Galbraith Florist”, and between the 70′s and 1999 it was owned by two other people and moved several times. In September 2018, I (Oksana Posatska) purchased the shop. The shop is still learning and growing everyday, so that our customers can continue to receive the best possible service and pricing! We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but the flower shop has been anything but quiet.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been preparing for a busy EPIC wedding season, filling the cooler with extraordinary blooms, and getting everything ready for prom season and so much more is happening everyday! Thank you SO MUCH for keeping us so wonderfully busy 🫶

This week, we’re especially excited because we’ve managed to get our hands on an absolutely breathtaking new variety of Campanula. Rare, unique, and unlike anything we’ve seen before, we’re thrilled to be among the first florists to offer it.

These beauties are available this weekend, and we invite you to stop by and take a few stems home. It’s worth the trip.

The abundance of unique blooms arriving at the shop lately has our heads spinning in the very best way, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

We honestly don’t even know where to begin 🤍

This Mother’s Day was bigger, busier, and more emotional than we ever expected, and we are sitting here feeling so incredibly grateful for all of you.

To everyone who ordered flowers, trusted us with such meaningful moments, recommended us to friends and family, waited patiently during the rush, shared kind words, or simply supported our small business in any way… thank you. Truly.

This week was filled with very early mornings, very late nights, messy floors covered in stems and petals, nonstop designing, problem solving, running around, and trying our absolute best to make every bouquet feel special. It was exhausting in every possible way… but also so beautiful.

Seeing how many people wanted to celebrate the women they love through flowers reminded us why we do this in the first place 🌸 Behind every bouquet was a story, a memory, a thank you, an “I love you,” or a reminder to someone that they matter.

And being trusted with that is something we never take lightly 🤍

It’s a carefully orchestrated plan behind the scenes.
We go into this week fully aware of what’s ahead- long hours, hundreds of phone calls, and thousands of stems arriving, being processed, nurtured, and prepped for their best moment. Every florist on our team moves with intention so each arrangement gets the attention it deserves.
We build systems and collections to keep everything flowing smoothly. But what makes this week challenging is when things don’t go according to plan - like last-minute shortages from wholesalers and growers or orders placed outside of our Mother’s Day Collection.

That’s when things can quickly become hectic.

If you’re ordering for Mother’s Day weekend, please choose directly from our Mother’s Day Collection. We’ve created 30+ designs across a range of price points, all based on the flowers we’ve carefully sourced for this week.
