We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and a strong understanding of floral arrangements, as well as the ability to engage with customers in a retail environment. This role requires both artistic talent and practical skills in sales and customer service, making it perfect for someone who enjoys working with flowers and interacting with people. Pay and hours negotiable and competitive based on experience and skill.
🌻Duties
Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday purchases.
Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers by ensuring proper care and handling.
Assist customers in selecting floral products that meet their needs while providing exceptional service.
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling.
Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and visually appealing retail space.
Participate in e-commerce initiatives by updating online inventory and assisting with order fulfillment.
Provide landscape maintenance services as needed to enhance outdoor floral displays.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide recommendations based on their requests.
🌻Qualifications
Formal training or previous experience in floral design.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English to interact with customers effectively.
Familiarity with retail sales practices, including cash handling procedures.
Knowledge of garden maintenance techniques is a plus.
Experience with e-commerce platforms is advantageous for managing online orders.

Update: debit and credit are slow, but it is back up and running!

Attention customers! We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our debit/credit terminal. This means we are currently unable to accept payment by debit and credit card. We CAN, however, accept cash and etransfer payment! I'm hoping to have this issue resolved by Friday, but in the mean time, please be prepared to pay via cash or etransfer!
