Sometimes the person you knew for the shortest time is the one you think about the longest.

If someone tells you after a couple of dates that they're not interested, that it isn't going to work, or that you're just not their type, the only response you need is:
"Okay. Thanks for being honest."
That's it.
Don't try to convince them they'd be happy with you.
Don't argue with their reasons.
Don't show you still exist by flooding their socials.
Don't get angry because you think they're making the wrong decision.
They've already made it.
Trying to change someone's mind doesn't make you look more desirable. It usually makes you look desperate, insecure, and unable to accept rejection.
Protect your dignity.
Accept their decision, wish them well, and go process your disappointment privately. Not every connection is meant to become a relationship, and that's okay. The right person won't need convincing.
