NAB DNB is back with the 33rd chapter of OMEN, and this one’s coming with serious energy. Beneath the northern lights, we’re bringing relentless bass and a lineup built to move the city.

This edition is extra special – we’re celebrating JT’s Birthday with a massive set that’s guaranteed to tear up the dancefloor. Alongside him, we’ve got the firepower of Mangladesh, Glowing Embers, and Lizzie Blu bringing the heat all night long.

Mangladesh
A hypnotic force in Edmonton’s underground, Mangladesh (aka Lindzie) has been shaping sound and moving bodies since 2005. Her deep, unpredictable sets blur techno, minimal, house, and shadowy rhythms into gritty, ritual grooves — vinyl-rooted, instinct-driven, and never the same twice.

Glowing Embers
In the fiery realm of Drum & Bass, Glowing Embers stand as a formidable force. The Edmonton-based duo, founders of West Cove Recordings, craft tracks that push the boundaries of the genre while honoring its roots — from liquid depths to frenetic highs. Known for their dynamic stage presence and unreleased weapons, their live sets ignite pure euphoria on the dancefloor.

It’s that time again—NAB DNB Guestmix Series is back on SoundCloud, and this month’s feature is nothing short of powerful.

We’re honoured to welcome Kharis, a defining force in Canada’s Drum and Bass scene, whose journey is as deep and dynamic as her sound. .dnb

Born and raised in Toronto, Kharis grew up immersed in music—singing, playing cello, and mastering brass before finding her true rhythm behind the drums. Her love for Jungle and Drum & Bass sparked in the late ’90s, but it was in 2014 that she stepped behind the decks and began shaping the refined, cinematic style she’s known for today.

Kharis’s mixes are storytelling in motion—liquid blends, deep rollers, and basslines that hit with both weight and emotion. Whether she’s opening ears or shutting down stages, her sets strike that perfect balance between technical precision and raw energy.

In 2022, she became one of the first female artists signed to Rather Rude Toronto, quickly expanding her presence across the country with performances from Calgary to Ottawa. Major highlights include closing out a packed Masterlab Toronto night after Makoto, and headlining her first festival in Quebec with the Camo Sessions Crew.

Kharis has rocked the stage with names like Mrs. Magoo (UK), Polaris, Remedy, Sevin (UK), Mz. Revolution, and Elixah from the DnB Girls. Her mixes have aired on MissRepresent’s UK radio show, Juice DrumandBass in Portland, and Prophecy Radio in Toronto—where she grew up tuning in as a listener.

And the momentum doesn’t stop there—her debut release “Junction” drops in 2025 on Hangry Records UK, showing off her signature blend of dark, melodic Jungle with deep emotion and serious weight.

From the booth to the studio and beyond, Kharis is pushing the culture forward, building community, and keeping the Jungle spirit alive.

Dishpit—Dishpit started exploring electronic music in the late 2000s, getting hooked on A State of Trance and slowly spiraling into a love for all kinds of sounds. Their DJ sets lean into genre fluidity, often stitched together with looping and layering just to see what might happen. A life-changing set at the Castle Stage at the Womp sparked a deep love for Drum and Bass, which now lives alongside a softer passion for melodic house inspired by artists like Ben Böhmer and Lane 8. Whether mixing or producing, Dishpit is just chasing what feels good—and hoping it resonates with someone else along the way.

Luk Peers B2B Selectress – It’s Luk’s birthday rinse out, and we’re doing it proper! Luk Peers brings their usual depth and versatility, digging into a wide range of styles and keeping things fluid.
