Wedding season: It’s loud, fast, busy and beautifully intense!

Moving from one love story to the next, crossing paths with vendors I adore, and somehow juggling rehearsals, timelines and all the tiny moments that make this work feel so human.

And even in the chaos, I keep coming back to this: We pour so much of ourselves into what we do because we love it, and because every couple who chooses us trusts us with one of the biggest moments of their lives.

Whilst in the thick of this beautiful chaos, it’s important to remind myself, that this is the life I once dreamt of.

To everyone out there in the same boat… remember, we’re living the dream we used to chase 🤍

It started in a dingy bar with one bold line:
“You’re my type…you know.”

Cue the wrong number, a lucky Facebook request, and a love story that’s taken them from Bali dance floors to Santorini stages, and now, right here, saying I do.

Dress fluffer, veil untangler, keeper of calm. All in a celebrant’s day’s work.

A moment on the stairs at Caversham House; a quick fluff of Shari’s gorgeous dress, flick of her veil, a shared smile, and a breath before the magic.

The way these two looked at each other was simply beautiful. So much love and devotion. 🥹

As a celebrant, I get to stand in these beautiful pauses between what was and what’s about to be… and they never lose their magic.

Yasmin & Kyle’s day was pure colour, joy and love. 🌸

We had bridesmaids in every shade, the brightest blooms, confetti showers, Otis the dog stealing hearts, and a surprise moment when Mums got to be the official witnesses.

The Barn at was bursting with so much love, made possible by the incredible team of vendors and epic guests. What a team, what a day. 🥰

Three years in, and I’ve grown a lot, not just as a celebrant, but as a human.

At first, I was all about the details; the quirks, the cute trends, the Pinterest-worthy touches. But the longer I do this, the more I realise it’s never been about those things.

It’s about people. It’s about the energy in the room, the laughter mid-vow, the teary glances, the unexpected moments that make a ceremony real.

Maybe it’s age, maybe it’s wisdom, but I’ve learned that the real magic isn’t in how a ceremony looks, it’s in how it feels.

You can’t script kids… and thank goodness for that!

Because no run sheet in the world could plan a moment like this; a toddler resting his head right on Dad’s bum mid-ceremony. Absolute gold. 🤣

Kids bring the realness, the giggles, the chaos, and the charm. They remind us that weddings aren’t meant to be flawless… they’re meant to be human.

On this special day, the rain came rolling in over Mardella Meadows, but honestly, it just made Dharma and Conor’s day feel even more magical.

We moved into the barn where we all gathered close, and it turned into one of those moments that just feels right. Intimate, full of heart, and so perfectly them.

The vendor team didn’t miss a beat. Everyone pulled together to create something beautiful, cozy, and seamless. It’s the kind of day that reminds you what weddings are really about. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives 🥰

A month filled with the most incredible love stories, heart-filled vows, beautiful venues in full spring bloom, and teams of vendors who poured their hearts into every detail. Every ceremony reminded me just how lucky I am to be surrounded by so much joy, connection, and genuine love.

To every couple who trusted me to be part of your day… thank you. You made October shine in the most special way. Here’s to the magic we created together, the laughter, the happy tears, and all the love that will keep blooming long after the day ends.
