Mohammed ‘Ayo Busari’ is a Nigerian award-winning Creative Artist, Writer, Producer, DJ, Entrepreneur & Media Personality. Previously living and working in Nigeria and the UK, he is now based in Boorloo. Ayo Busari is signed to his own Indie Label & Management Agency, "Mobus Entertainment''. Meet the artists behind ÀṢÀ / UMUCO 🌍

Mohammed ‘Ayo Busari’ and Aline Akundwanayo bring together their distinct multidisciplinary practices in a shared exploration of culture, heritage, memory and belonging.

Drawing from their Nigerian and Burundian histories and experiences within the African diaspora, Ayo and Aline work across photography, film, poetry, music and collage to explore the ways culture is carried, reclaimed and reimagined across generations.

ÀṢÀ means Culture in Yoruba. UMUCO means Culture in Kirundi.

Together, their works invite audiences into a living cultural space shaped by ancestral memory, contemporary experience and the ongoing question of what it means to carry home with you.
