ARTIST SPOTLIGHT - MYSTIMORPHIK 🔊

Some artists just play the scene. Others become part of it. Nathan Denis aka Mystimorphik is one of those.

From first stepping into the Freo Dub Club dancefloor as part of the community, to joining in & hauling speakers, playing a killer set at our Echo Valley Stage, and steadily sharpening his craft - it’s been a proper journey watching him grow!

Now it feels right to welcome him back behind the decks for the final Freo Dub Club of the season.

Originally emerging from Belgium’s underground DJ scene, Mystimorphik found his deeper direction after landing in Australia’s bush party culture. His sound sits somewhere between deep dub, steppers and tribal hypnotic rhythms, built for heads who like their selections deep and their basslines serious.

One of the UK’s most powerful voices in bass music lands in Perth on less than 2 weeks!

Hailing from Bristol, Eva Lazarus has built a reputation for her unmistakable vocal style across reggae, dub, jungle, hip hop and drum & bass, collaborating with heavyweights like Mungo’s Hi Fi, Benny Page, Swindle and DJ Yoda.

From major stages like Glastonbury and Boomtown to heavyweight club sessions across the UK and Europe, Eva has become known for her energy on the mic and her ability to lift a dance.

Now she joins Mungo’s Hi Fi live for the final Freo Dub Club session of the season.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT:
Now that was truly something else!
Musical healing at its finest, providing warmth and a guiding light - right when it's most needed!! A huge thank you to the one and only Channel One Sound System for a session that can't be put into words - nothing but upliftment for mind body & soul!

What a blessing to see the community come together in unity, Skanking from the first beat to the last. Powered by KBI Sound System & our Red Earth Rig, finally side by side. A first for WA but definitely not the last time! A huge shout out to the incredible The Rechabite team, opening the doors last minute for this dance to find a home!
