Located in a magnificent 19th century building on Bathers Beach, Kidogo Arthouse hosts a wide array of unique music and art experiences.

The building is a majestic 1884 heritage listed limestone construction with a beautiful courtyard and deck overlooking Bathers Beach. Kidogo Arthouse holds a multitude of unique experiences and events all year round, including exhibitions, concerts and live music festivals. It is also a popular venue to host weddings and private functions due to its ideal location and sheer grandeur of the buildin

Charming Heritage Building, Breathtaking Indian Ocean Vistas

Situated in the charming 1884 heritage-listed Old Kerosene Store on Bathers Beach, Fremantle, Kidogo Arthouse is a coveted venue for weddings, engagement parties, birthday parties, corporate functions, exhibitions and concerts, among other events. It boasts unbounded views of the Indian ocean and four diverse function spaces, serving events of various sizes.

Kidogo Arthouse (‘Kidogo’ meaning ‘small’ in Swahili) was established in 1998 by Joanna Robertson, a recognised leader in the arts industry in Western Australia. An award-winning Irish artist, Joanna – who was raised in Tanzania – is a graduate from Dublin's prestigious National College of Art and Design's five-year degree in Fine Art. As a professional artist and art lecturer working in Ireland, the USA – and Australia since 1981 – she has exhibited in international shows for over 35 years. Her vibrant energy is the heart of Kidogo Arthouse.
