Iconic Pictures Wedding Videography, Done Differently The story of your wedding day will be one of the most precious of your lifetime.

That’s why it’s such a privilege for us to bring these stories to life. So far, we’ve captured hundreds of weddings so we know what works and what doesn’t. In fact, one of our videos won the Gold Award at the AIPP Video Producer awards and our rad clients give us rave reviews on Facebook. Most importantly, we know that every story is different – and therefore every wedding film we make is differen

t too. By ‘different’ we don’t just mean grabbing a random soundtrack and calling it done, we’re talking about an exclusively handcrafted, premium approach from beginning to end. We get to know you and your quirks in preparation, capture the tiny beautiful details on your day, find the perfect music to complement your footage, and bring it all together in a blow-your-socks-off video that is undisputedly, remarkably ‘you.’

Telling your story, in your way, is what we do best.

We never tell our couples what to say.

Instead, we ask the right question, give them a little prompt, or sometimes simply step back and listen.

“What just happened?”

“What’s been your favourite part of the day?”

Or no question at all — just letting a conversation unfold.

Those little soundbites might seem simple, but they add so much personality to a wedding film. They give us something more personal than relying on speeches alone, and help each film feel genuinely unique to the couple in it.

That’s what we believe, and that’s our approach:

Guided, but never forced.

Behind the scenes of how we almost lost our drone at Meg & Michael’s wedding at the beautiful Woolbrook Homestead 😂

We had the drone up and ready for Meg to walk down the aisle. I already had a fresh battery ready to go, but we kept thinking, she’s going to walk any second now… so there never really felt like enough time to bring it down, swap batteries and get it back in position.
Well… “any second now” turned into almost 20 minutes 😂

And fair enough — it’s Meg’s wedding. She can take as long as she wants.

By the time she finally started walking, the drone was sitting at around 15% battery and literally as she came down the aisle, it decided it had had enough and started auto-landing.

Towards the roof of a nearby house.
Cue me sprinting across the venue trying to save it, while my second shooter’s face pretty much said everything 😂

But that’s also the reality of shooting weddings. You’re constantly on your toes, solving one problem after another and adapting to whatever happens.

Thankfully, with a bit of experience, quick problem-solving and probably a little bit of luck, we still managed to get the drone back safely — and get the shot into Meg & Michael’s final film.

Sometimes the calmest-looking shots come from the most chaotic moments behind the scenes. 🎥🚁

Sophie & Lucas — photos you can feel.

From Sophie’s entrance and the tears during their ceremony, to a celebratory high-five, drinks with their favourite people and the wonderfully chaotic dance floor—every part of this wedding felt completely alive.

Coming from videography, we naturally approach photography the same way: we want to create photos you can feel—not only pretty photos that show how it looked.

I think this gallery did just that.

How to shoot weddings that don’t feel staged 🎥 (swipe ➡️)

5 things we’ve learned over the years that have shaped the way we shoot weddings:

1. Don’t over-direct — guide when you need to, step back when you don’t.
2. Look beyond the obvious — keep an eye on what’s happening around you, not just the main event.
3. Film people, not a shot list — read the couple, their family and the energy of the day.
4. Make them comfortable — the more comfortable people are around you, the more natural the moments become.
5. Be intentional with your questions — know the reaction you’re looking for, then give them space to answer naturally.

Every wedding is different, but these are the principles we bring to every one.

Hope it helps. Happy shooting 🎥

And most importantly, let your couples enjoy their wedding 🤍

Some clips from Sarah & Ben’s film 🍂🤎💕

A beautiful autumn wedding at the incredible Flowerdale Estate | Wedding & Conference Venue, blessed with perfect weather and filled with laughter, spontaneous moments, intimacy and plenty of emotion.

We absolutely loved capturing the genuine connection between these two—the little looks, the big laughs, the spontaneous soundbites and all the sentimental moments in between. This is exactly why we love what we do.

Congratulations, Sarah Ramsden and Ben! 🥂

This is Sophie + Lucas: funky, heartfelt and completely themselves. 🎞️✨

Last month Sophie beat cancer. Then theydecided—why wait? Let’s get married. 🪩🍾

Three weeks later, they flew down from the Gold Coast with 30 of their favourite people and threw one hell of a Melbourne wedding.

Confetti and “I dos” at Altar Electric.

Martinis, pasta and party vibes at Pepe’s.

No fuss—just big love, loud laughs and a seriously good time.

I also threw a few spontaneous questions at Sophie, Lucas and their guests throughout the day—and the answers gave us the most candid, intimate and genuinely brilliant sound bites.

Congrats again guys!
