Hey, I’m Jamie and I make wedding films that focus on what a wedding day is all about, and to me, it’s seeing everyone you love and everyone you care about in the same place for the first time. And with that comes lots of little moments that one day might mean everything to you.
It’s about reflecting on the journey that got you here, and it’s the promises that you intend to keep as you start a new chapter.
It’s hearing your friends and family say things to you that they’ve never had the chance to say before. And finally, it’s the celebration on a night that you wish could last forever.
My job is just to document all of that creatively, and I do that by giving my couples space to enjoy their day, and so that it never feels like they’re constantly being filmed. But at the same time, I’m always on standby to give directions when they’re needed.
My editing style varies to suit the mood of the day, whether it’s romantic and sentimental or upbeat and energetic. Usually it’s a bit of both, but no matter the style, storytelling always plays a big part. So that one day, far in the future, when the memories get a little fuzzy, your video can be a reminder of the day and why you were there in the first place.
