📣 Entries open now: Gluttony Sculpture Walk 2027 📣

For the second year running, Gluttony is holding an outdoor sculpture competition, curated within its grounds. Entries opened 1 August for the 2027 Gluttony Sculpture Walk, with the application deadline of 22 November 2026.

Like last season, art installations of large scale will be presented throughout Gluttony’s parkland event site in Murlawirrapurka / Rymill Park during Adelaide Fringe 2027 (19 February - 21 March).

A unique presentation among Adelaide Fringe hub offerings, the Gluttony Sculpture Walk celebrates the major creative discipline of visual arts, expanding the artistic genres that call Gluttony home.

Prizes across various categories are awarded by an industry panel, as well as a Foodland People’s Choice award to be voted on by the general public who visit the Gluttony Sculpture Walk. Plus, this is a prime Fringetime opportunity to sell your work - and attract commissions - at a festival destination visited by more than 750,000 patrons during the season.

Just announced: an opportunity open to South Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists at any stage in their career. You can apply now for new residency opportunities at Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, offering rehearsal space and creative support to develop work in any genre, with an outcome to present the work as part of the Gluttony program at Tandanya during Adelaide Fringe 2027. The two residencies are supported by Tandanya and Adelaide Fringe, with applications closing on 19 August 2026. See Tandanya's post for more details.

Gluttony is excited to be collaborating with Tandanya again, for the 2027 Adelaide Fringe season.

An all new residency opportunity at Tandanya, offering rehearsal space and creative support to develop work in any genre. This opportunity is open to South Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists at any stage in their career. With the support from both teams at Tandanya and Adelaide Fringe, two successful residencies will be able to explore, develop and create using the rehearsal space at Tandanya with an outcome as part of the Gluttony program at Tandanya in the Adelaide Fringe 2027.

Gluttony is proud to be part of Adelaide Fringe, popping up as a hub for live art and festival experiences every season since 2011!

Congratulations to the hard-working Adelaide Fringe team and thank you to all involved – artists, audience members, venues and Fringe supporters – in the 2026 season. 👏

It's the final weekend of Illuminate Adelaide, including its free City Lights trail in the Adelaide CBD. For the first time, the installations extend into Rymill Park, including the very pretty CYGNUS on Rymill Park Lake (which you can see at the very start of this clip).

Also, if you've seen the storytelling puppet show Railway Bob at Gluttony, you can spot the famous Bob as part of the illuminart Stories in Light projections at the State Library's forecourt 🤩
