Gluttony 2026 came to a close this time one week ago, Sunday 22 March, after 29 nights of live shows, parkland hospitality and collective merriment in Murlawirrapurka / Rymill Park, and Gluttony at Tandanya. For their roles this Adelaide Fringe season, we express our gratitude to...

🧡 Gluttony's audiences 🧡

A huge THANK YOU for showing up for live arts and entertainment! Your choice to buy tickets, head out, and experience performances is what makes everything possible. Without it, Gluttony, its artists and arts workers couldn’t keep coming back year after year. The statewide celebration that is Adelaide Fringe — a time to come together, enjoy and celebrate the arts — is a truly special part of the South Australian calendar, and never something we take for granted.

🧡 Gluttony's on-site team 🧡

Our artists and producers: presenting more than 220 ticketed shows, from internationally touring acts to local and emerging talent. Across 15 performance spaces throughout Murlawirrapurka / Rymill Park and Gluttony at Tandanya, they created a program for all ages and walks of life, which we are incredibly proud of. A special welcome this year to the visual artists who created the works for our inaugural Gluttony Sculpture Walk!

Our experiences, including Funtime Kids and their Dart Blaster Arena, Pig Skin Tattoo Collective, Lost City Records, Attaboy barber, Pursuit of Champagne, Smelly Cheese Co and Moët & Chandon for their masterclasses, Adelaide Henna, Face Painting by Daniela, and Orsi Joni Art — bringing energy and fun to the park before, during and after shows

Our staff: Across Gluttony’s history, thousands of talented people have contributed to our flagship event, shaping its culture and helping drive its success — and we thank each and every one. The 2026 season alone brought together 400 staff across site build, décor and maintenance, operations, production, front-of-house, bars, food and functions, cleaning, programming, artist services, project management, marketing, human resources, finance and administration, along with a cohort of interns from tertiary institutions. Thank you all for the roles you play in helping Gluttony come to life, open its gates, serve and delight. A special shoutout to those continuing to bump out the site and store our infrastructure for the off-season ahead!

Until next year, when we can gather again to marvel, reflect, eat, drink, sing and dance together… THANK YOU.

🏆 Waterbox Australia Highly Commended Award
Work: Birthday Boy
Artist: David Archer, Archers Arcadia (pics 4-5)

🏆 Foodland People's Choice Award

Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to all the artists who were part of this exciting new element of Gluttony 2026. The Gluttony Sculpture Walk itself won a Best in Visual Arts Weekly Award from Adelaide Fringe, of which our team is very proud.

This was the very first time Gluttony brought large-scale visual art into the heart of our parkland base of Murlawirrapurka/Rymill Park during Adelaide Fringe. We hope you enjoyed this free, open-air experience!

Sculptures were judged by an industry panel, and the Foodland People’s Choice Award was voted on by you – the audience who bring this space to life – via the QR codes located next to each sculpture.

The sculptures are available for purchase, and artists are also open to commissions throughout the festival. Feel free to contact them to enquire further - details on our website: https://www.gluttony.net.au/your-visit/gluttony-sculpture-walk

We look forward to bringing you a new array of works during the 2027 Gluttony Sculpture Walk!

The 2026 season's final Champagne Island masterclass is happening tomorrow, Sat 21 Mar, at 2pm on Rymill Park Lake at Gluttony. Terroir & Merroir: The Dom Pérignon & Oyster Masterclass is an immersive lakeside experience that pairs three Dom Pérignon cuvées with three native Australian oysters, exploring how land, sea, climate, and craft shape flavour.

Book your place: https://bit.ly/TerroirAndMerroirCI2026

(Of course, Champagne Island always welcomes walk-ins to pull up a spot at the bar or to kick back with a picnic rug on the island lawns too... it’s the place at Adelaide Fringe to enjoy South Australian seafood, fancy snacks, and an extensive champagne list by the bottle or glass as you soak up the lakeside atmosphere 🍾)
