What an incredible privilege it was for our team to spend the morning at The Beach Hotel, where our Managing Director shared her 17-year business journey with more than 120 remarkable women.

A heartfelt thank you to Michelle Brown for the invitation, and to every woman in the room for your warmth, honesty and encouragement.

The morning served as a reminder that while every business journey is unique, so many of the challenges faced along the way are shared.

During the session, Claire Gallant Kivedo spoke about the lessons that don't always make it onto social media, the setbacks, the resilience, the importance of relationships, leading through uncertainty, and why sometimes the greatest success is simply choosing not to give up.

If there was one message we hoped everyone took away, it was this:
"Legacy isn't something you leave one day. It's something you build every single day through your actions, your integrity and the way you treat people."

Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a special morning. Here's to women who continue to build businesses, create opportunities, lift one another up, and leave every room a little better than they found it. 💙

What started as an internship has grown into a journey of learning, showing up, gaining confidence and becoming part of the rhythm of our team.

Narishka Pillay joined us with a willingness to observe, absorb and grow, and over the past year, we’ve watched her step into the world of events, communication, client service and all the moving parts that happen behind the scenes.

In events, you quickly learn that no two days are the same. Some days are glamorous, some days are admin-heavy, and some days require comfortable shoes, quick thinking and a very good sense of humour.

Thank you, Narishka, for your commitment, your willingness to learn and for being part of the Overall Events Effect.
