The Ferreira Butchery name has been trusted for decades, with Henry boasting over 50 years in the meat trade. A true legend, he’s known across Gqeberha (PE) and beyond for knowing meat like no other.

Raised in a butchery and trained the old-school way by his father, Cornelius Martinus Ferreira, Henry learned the craft properly — from nose to tail. His father’s experience as a chef on the prestigious Blue Train also shaped Henry’s deep understanding of flavour and catering.

Today, Henry runs his own Spitbraai business. He sources Karoo lamb, works with local pork suppliers, creates his own spice blends, and makes all sauces and marinades in-house.

Whether it’s 30 guests or 5,000, Henry brings the same passion to every event — quality meat, bold flavour, and unforgettable experiences
