💛 From heartbreak to happily ever after…

Just three weeks before their wedding, Andrew & Odette’s venue was lost to flooding. What could have been a disaster turned into something unforgettable when Jana heard their story through a supplier and decided her 67 minutes for Mandela Day would be to gift them the Slipperfields venue — at no charge.

Their day was filled with love and laughter and nearly 13 years later, they’re still talking about it 🥹✨

Some moments stay with you forever — this is one of them.

💛 Jana had the sweetest surprise at The Gorge Market — bumping into Alister and his family, who tied the knot at Slipperfields back in May 2012.

They came for lunch and sneaky snacks ✨ Alister couldn’t help but share how stunning his bride was on their wedding day… and that they’d been dying to come back ever since.

Their verdict after 12 years? “Slipperfields just sells itself.” 💍

🎄 A Christmas worth celebrating — in the middle of winter.

Last month marked our third year hosting Christmas in July at Slipperfields , and once again it was nothing short of incredible.

Behind the sparkle of the décor, the laughter of our guests, and the warmth of the music, there’s a cause close to our hearts — the Ubomi Obutsha Centre. This remarkable team works tirelessly to support and uplift their community, many of whom face daily challenges most of us can’t imagine.

Every year, Jana pours her heart into creating this mid-year Christmas — a night filled with generosity, from sponsored prizes and fundraising auctions to blankets placed under the tree, ready to bring warmth where it’s needed most.

To everyone who joined us, sponsored, performed, spoke, and gave — thank you. Your presence and kindness help turn compassion into action, and hope into reality. 💛
