Fresh single Fridays return with the swampy, bluesy Americana of Chasing Hues + The Easy Riders! It’s a sneak peek at what’s to come on our GOOD DUCK Records artist compilation next Friday. The song itself is like a movie whose plot unfolds underneath a bed of acoustic guitars punctuated by stabs of dobro over a dreamy, draggy shuffle. The protagonist here is Anysia Hutchens, who navigates a multitude of emotions and moods with acrobatic ease — whispering, soaring, and belting as the plot reveals itself. Recorded live at Coral Star Studio in an afternoon with just a couple quick overdubs, there’s a lotta talent on display here. Check it out, streaming everywhere today!
