During the 2026 York State Fair, we were proud to recognize the York Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 627 IAFF for an incredible 69 years as part of the Fair family.

For generations, the York Professional Fire Fighters Association has been a familiar and welcomed presence at the Fair, serving up their famous steak sandwiches while supporting their important mission. This year, they made the difficult decision to scale back their operation and transition from food sales to collecting donations under the Grandstand.

While their setup may have looked a little different, their commitment to the community remains the same. We are grateful for the many years they have spent at the York State Fair and for the support they continue to provide to our local firefighters and the communities they serve.

Thank you, York Professional Fire Fighters Association, for 69 years of tradition, service, and dedication. We’re honored to have you as part of the York State Fair family!

Today, we’re recognizing two longtime vendors who have been serving up favorites for generations — Stoltzfus Catering & York Baked Potato, both celebrated an incredible 77 years as part of the York State Fair family in 2026!

We’re excited to share that you can also enjoy both of these longtime favorites at the Autumn Mercantile on Saturday, October 10th at the York Expo Center!

Thank you, York Baked Potato and Stoltzfus Catering, for 77 years of memories, great food, and being such an important part of our Fair family.

At the 2026 York State Fair, kids could get their hands dirty at the Seed Table in the Ag Education Center and plant a seed to take home and start their very own garden! They could choose from bush beans, cucumbers, pumpkins or sunflowers.

Our next longtime vendor recognition goes to Santillo’s Inc., a York State Fair fixture since 1942!

Currently on it’s third generation, Santillo’s Inc, is family owned by Vince and Gretchen (Santillo) Martino. Bringing favorites such as the signature Santillo’s sausage & pepper sandwiches, cheeseburgers, corn dogs, ribbon fries, funnel cakes, fried dough and lemonade, Santillo’s Inc is sure have something for everyone in your family.

We were honored to welcome talented local singers who helped us celebrate our country and bring the Fair community together. Thank you to all of our performers for sharing your voices and making this special moment part of the York State Fair experience!

During the 2026 York State Fair, CEO Patrick Ball and Concessions Manager Mike Flory had the honor of recognizing our longtime vendors who have helped make the Fair a tradition for generations.

Our first recognition goes to Mike Rutter on behalf of Rutter's Dairy — the longest-running vendor at the York State Fair! The Rutter Bros. Dairy began vending at the Fair in 1939, creating a legacy that has continued for 87 years.

Thank you, Rutter's, for being such an important part of the York State Fair story and for helping create memories for generations of Fairgoers!
