For 41 years, Tom’s Vegetable Co. has been serving up a York State Fair favorite! Based out of Spring Grove, Tom’s Vegetable Co. is owned and operated by the Elliott Family. Located outside the UPMC Arena, their stand serves up fried vegetables that are freshly cut, hand-battered, and cooked to perfection.

We’re grateful to have the Elliott family and Tom’s Vegetable Co. as part of the York State Fair tradition for 41 years & counting!

Set up is underway for today's Autumn Mercantile! Join us at the Verandah Room at the York Expo Center starting at 10am. We've got craft vendors, food trucks and mini-highland cows! We're also giving away door prizes at the York State Fair table, one free entry for everyone who attends. Plus, if you make a purchase with any of our vendors, you'll earn an extra entry to improve your chances of winning! So come on out and enjoy this beautiful day before the rain comes tomorrow!

The Autumn Mercantile vendor list is here! Join us at the Verandah Room on Saturday for a day of shopping, sipping, and snacking. Stop by and shop handmade goods from 25+ talented artisans, crafters & confectioners. Enter to win door prizes. Cuddle with one of Sager Farms mini highland cows. Enjoy delicious eats from some of your favorite local food trucks and sip samples from local craft alcohol producers. (Must be at least 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcohol.)

For 51 years, Mister Ed’s has been a familiar part of the York State Fair. Ed Gotwalt first brought the stand to the Fair in 1975, and since then, generations of fairgoers have stopped under the Grandstand for their famous hoagies, peanuts, candy, popcorn, fudge and other treats.

Today, Mister Ed’s is operated by Ed’s granddaughter, Nicole, and her husband, Isaac Bucher. We were proud to present Isaac with a certificate recognizing 51 years at the York State Fair this year! Thank you for being part of the Fair tradition for more than five decades!
