The Indianapolis Quartet explores different styles and eras of chamber music and the audience will determine what comes next in this one-of-a-kind interactive concert.
No tickets are necessary for this free concert sponsored by the Zenith Music Festival which brings chamber music to unique locations in the greater Des Moines area.

Friday June 6 at 7 PM, the Indianapolis Quartet will present a rare opportunity to engage with chamber music in an entirely new way.

Millie Kehrli PhD gave her lecure Thursday morning on the inspiraton of Mary Pemble Barton, a researcher, teacher, and quilter. Many exciting things are happening in Winterset this weekend with the Quilt Festival. We're glad we could be a part of it.

The Indianapolis Quartet performs on the Iowa Theater stage, Friday night, June 6 at 7 PM. In a truly one-of-a-kind experience, this interactive concert will allow the audience to help shape the journey of the performance. This will be a rare opportunity to hear classical music at it's finest at no cost. This performance is provided free by the Zenith Musical festival as part of its ongoing mission to bring chamber music into unique locations across the greater Des Moines area. The Iowa Theater and staff were thrilled to be a part of the 2025 John Wayne Birthday Celebration weekend. Barry Corbin entertained audiences with a Shakespeare monologue and funny stories from his career. He was kind enough to sign autographs and take pictures with his fans and staffer Jody Pugh was right in line to get one.

Look at the shine!
We're so excited about the refurbishing of our iconic historical marquee. It is such a beacon on the Winterset square.
Thanks to Dan Reis Signs for locating the new product and doing the work. And thanks to the Greater Madison County Community Foundation, the RAGBRAI committee, Caseys, and our Capital Campaign donors who made this visible upgrade possible.

If you drove by the Iowa today you saw the work on the marquee happening! What an exciting day.
Thanks to grants from the RAGRBRAI committee, the Greater Madison County Community Foundation, and Casey's, and our generous Capital Campaign donors we were able to get this project done. A shout out to Dan Reis and Reis Signs for getting the work done.
