Lone Oaks Farm is dedicated to prairie restoration, historical preservation and offering unique local experiences.

Our 1850s barn hosts farm-to-table dinners with renowned chefs using local ingredients. My pottery reflects our deep love for the land.

Long before our barn dinners, people were gathering around this barn. For generations, it was at the center of everyday life on another Iowa farm.

When the barn could no longer remain where it stood, it was carefully taken apart, and rebuilt at Lone Oaks Farm. More than 170 years later, those same hand-hewn beams still bear the axe marks of the people who shaped them.

The barn's purpose has changed over the years, but it still brings people together.

We're looking forward to welcoming Chef Aaron Holt back this fall.
