There’s something truly magical about an intimate wedding at home, and Alex + Rob’s lakeside celebration in Clermont, FL proves it.

From the moment they said “I do” overlooking the sparkling water to the heartfelt vows officiated by Rob’s brother, every detail reflected their love story in the most authentic way.

Grace and Daniel’s wedding in Lady Lake Seventh-Day Adventist Church near Ocala, Florida, was everything heartfelt and timeless.

They shared a first look in the gardens outside the church, exchanged pre-recorded vows which melted the audience’s hearts, and included a foot‑washing ceremony as a beautiful symbol of service and love.

At the reception, Grace’s dad surprised everyone by singing her childhood song — and Daniel joined in. Cue all the happy tears. Styled with citrus, magnolia, and touches of Grace’s home in Florida and Daniel’s home in Hawaii, this day was intentional, emotional, and truly unforgettable.

Congratulations, Grace and Daniel! May your life together be full of love, surprise, and meaning!

One of the things we love most about being an Orlando wedding photographer is how wildly different every wedding is. 4 things we loved about Summer + Garrett’s wedding⤵︎

That you’re going to want to steal for yours too:

+ They kept things classy with a black and white look for their wedding. We know color is in, and we love it, but we’re also a sucker for an elegant affair.
+ They brought aaaalllll the drama to the dance floor - we’re always here for a good smoke machine moment!
+ They had late-night snacks for their guests, which were taco-tinis (ie, think: a deconstructed taco in a martini glass). Such a fun idea and great way to add personality.
+ Private last dance: we loved the peace and quiet Summer + Garrett were able to have before their grand exit.

A moment for Monica + Matthew ❤︎

These two had an intimate micro wedding surrounded by their closest friends and family in the stunning little town of Haile Plantation, Florida. Monica + Matthew first met while pursuing their master’s degrees in college. What started with a board game night turned into a love story filled with game nights, shared dreams, and stargazing. When Matthew proposed in December, he already knew this was forever. They chose to have a small, intimate wedding to keep the sentiment focused on their love and commitment to each other.

It’s often assumed that you miss out on a lot of typical wedding traditions when you have a micro wedding; however, Monica + Matthew intertwined tradition throughout their special day so beautifully.

Here are just a few of the traditional wedding elements we loved that they included in their wedding day, AND that we think may even have been made sweeter with Monica + Matthew having a micro wedding:
+ They had their worship pastor officiate their wedding
+ He had the opportunity to pray with Matthew before the service to settle his nerves
+ The ceremony was so sweet, personal, and emotional
+ Wedding toasts were all the more personable and special
+ The wedding food was incredible! Without having to serve a ton of people, you can focus on quality food you really WANT to eat!
