When planning the big day, we always remind our couples to schedule a moment to connect, just the two of you. Weddings are filled with excitement, emotion, and adrenaline, but long after the day has passed and you’ve settled into your new life as husband and wife, these are the moments you’ll remember: sitting on the dock with your best friend, soaking in the joy of spending the rest of your days together.

Planning your dream Florida wedding? We’d love to help capture all of your favorite details. Head to our website at the link in our bio to view our wedding photography and videography packages!

Karyn and Ismael set the tone for their day at right away: intimate, relaxed, and focused on the people who mattered most. Around 60 guests, plenty of time to actually be present, and a pace that made the whole wedding feel more like a family gathering than a big production. Karyn spent the morning tucked into the house with her mom, sister, and aunt, trading gifts and recording little videos together on the bed. Ismael and his groomsmen kept it simple too, hanging out and playing Rocket League while they waited for the day to begin.

Before the ceremony, there were a few quiet moments that set everything in motion. A tearful first look with Karyn and her dad, Ismael with his parents, then a first touch for the two of them, back to back, hands held, taking a breath before walking out.

They got married under a big tree with no added decor, just simple seating on the lawn and the people who mattered most. After that, the day opened up into golden hour portraits by the fountain and the front of the house, then straight into a reception that turned into a full-on party. Latin music, nonstop dancing, and one completely unplanned moment we’ll never forget, Karyn, her sister, and her best friend launching into Defying Gravity like they were on a stage.

Diana and Ricardo’s wedding day in Sanford felt like pure energy from the start. The morning started off on two totally different tracks. Ricardo’s side was quiet and low-key. Diana’s side turned into a full-on party when a band surprised her and filled the house with music and dancing. Then her dad saw her fully dressed, prayed over her, and the room got quiet for a second. It was one of those moments you feel in your chest.

They got married at Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Casselberry, the parish they attend, and they made it personal by writing their own liturgy and vows. After, everyone headed to for a casual outdoor reception, games, open space, and nonstop movement. Later we slipped into downtown Sanford for portraits, shade from the trees, and street charm.

Alex and Rob chose a lakefront Airbnb in Clermont for their micro wedding, and it set the tone right away: calm, private, and completely centered on them. We’re seeing more and more couples in Florida go this route, renting a home or Airbnb as an affordable alternative to a traditional venue, while still getting a setting that feels intimate and beautiful on camera.

The day started with a simple getting-ready moment between Alex and her mom, then moved outside to a ceremony that felt truly personal. Rob’s brother officiated, their vows brought people to tears, and the whole thing reminded everyone what micro weddings do best, they strip away the extra noise and keep the focus on the commitment.

After, we took a few portraits by the water, then they went back to the house for a relaxed backyard reception with thoughtful details and an easy, grateful kind of joy.
