✨ SHE WAS SO SURPRISED!!! ✨🥹🎉

Now that the secret is officially OUT, I can finally show you what we traveled to South Carolina to create! 😍

After celebrating JaFonda’s 50th Birthday with dinner at Ruth’s Chris, her family had one more surprise waiting for her — a beautiful Dessert & Drinks Celebration! 🥂🧁✨

Her husband, sisters, and mom reached out to me to help bring it all together, and y’all…this one was extra special. 🥹❤️

This is another of multiple celebrations we have been a part of for this family, and along the journey, we went from client and decorator to FAMILY. 🥰 They told me I’m officially their “family planner & decorator” now, and I will gladly accept that title! 🤗❤️

There is something so special about being invited back into a family’s milestone moments again and again. The birthdays, celebrations, surprises…to know that when it’s time to celebrate, they trust me to help make it beautiful means more than they know. 🥹🥰

And seeing JaFonda walk in completely surprised made the trip, the planning, the balloons and every single detail worth it! 😍

A huge shoutout to For The Love of Cake for the beautiful cupcakes and custom cookies! 🧁🍪 LaShawn understood the assignment and helped us carry the theme right down to the dessert table! 👏🏽✨

My husband is from Eastern North Carolina, and he SWEARS this 👇🏽 is chocolate cake.

To me…
🍫 Chocolate cake = chocolate cake.
💛 Yellow cake with chocolate icing = yellow cake with chocolate icing.

Apparently, where you’re from determines what you call it! 😂
