From college bandmates to a lifetime together! 🎶❤️

Laresa and Russell's wedding was a celebration years in the making. After reconnecting decades after they first met, navigating a long-distance relationship, and finally building a life together, April 11, 2026, was their day to celebrate with the people who matter most.

There's something pretty special about a couple whose story has taken so many unexpected turns before bringing them right where they belong.

Fox Meadow Barn was honored to be part of this next chapter, and we loved seeing Laresa and Russell celebrate the beginning of their married life together!

Congratulations, Laresa and Russell! ❤️
April 11, 2026

Some love stories really do feel like a Hallmark movie, and Laresa and Russell's is proof that sometimes life has a way of bringing people back together. ❤️

Their story began in 2001 at UCO in Edmond, Oklahoma, where they met playing in the college band and even worked at the same retail store. Life took them in different directions, across different parts of the country, but they remained loosely connected over the years.

Then, in 2021, a last-minute trip to DC changed everything. After years of life experiences, they reconnected and discovered a love neither had seen coming.

What followed was a year and a half of long-distance romance, virtual painting dates, baking cookies and mailing them to each other. Eventually, Laresa packed up her life—and her 10-year-old mutt—and moved from Kansas City to DC.

In June 2025, Russell proposed in Turks and Caicos, and on April 11, 2026, their next chapter began.

Their story started in 2001. Their love story began in 2021. And their happily ever after began at Fox Meadow Barn. 🥂

❤️ From a mutual friend’s introduction to finally closing the distance!

These two started chatting after being set up by a mutual friend, but COVID restrictions meant they had to wait nearly a month before their first date in Washington, D.C. Since Jesse was from Florida and had never visited DC, it made the perfect place to start their story!

After years of a long-distance relationship, their wedding marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter together—and finally being in the same place! 🥂

So many miles, countless memories, and now a lifetime ahead together. Congratulations to the happy couple! ❤️

3 years of friendship, almost 7 years together, and one very full-circle love story. 🤍

Mason and Natalie’s story started in middle school, when Natalie had a pretty big crush on Mason. 😉 They stayed close friends through middle and high school, even attending different high schools, until Mason finally asked Natalie on a date during senior year. And well… the rest is history!

But here’s our favorite part: Natalie now teaches 7th grade at the very same middle school where they first met. Talk about coming full circle!

From board games and nerdy jokes to 2000s rock music, these two have built a relationship on friendship, laughter, and all the little things that make them them.

After all these years, they aren't just getting married. They're getting to marry their best friend. And honestly, that's a pretty great way to start a marriage. 🖤
