UPDATE***UPDATE***UPDATE***UPDATE***

This is a post that I never, ever thought that would have to be made.
However, due to no fault of the Artists or the Venue, the Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver show scheduled for Sept 12, 2026 at Millwood Station Banquet Hall unfortunately needs to be cancelled. We are all so extremely sorry for the inconvenience this cancellation will undoubtedly cause so many!!! If you ordered your tickets online….your monies will be promptly returned back to the institution that you sent payment from after 2:00 pm tomorrow. To those who ordered reserved seating….We will be reaching out to everyone and sending a check back to you in the amount of your requested tickets. I am truly heartbroken over this, as I know so many of you all will be!!! I learned a very valuable lesson in all of this. Thank you to each and everyone of you that have always supported our shows!!! We were looking so forward to seeing you all next week!!! Again, please rest assure that this is of no fault of the Artists or the Venue. Thank you to Michelle Lee On Air / M & M Real Talk….we love you both!!! Last, but most certainly not least…..Thank you to Doyle and Eddie…..I would have never made it through this without them!!! Being crushed is not for the meek or mild!!! We will return!!!!

Everybody has been wondering and waiting to hear who the next Event Coordinator for Millwood Station Banquet Hall would be…..so I am excited to share that the next Event Coordinator for Millwood Station Banquet Hall will be none other than Mrs Sharon Whipkey. She has been there for the past 11 years not only helping me but also supporting Millwood Station 21 with all the fundraisers, never expecting anything in return. While she has warranted anxiety, she is truly excited to start this new journey beginning Sept 1, 2026. Alongside her will be none other then her beautiful daughter Carrie Whipkey helping her out…..with the actual bookings and other things while Sharon gets more acclimated to it all. Starting a new journey can sometimes be overwhelming especially in a field such as this!!! Please give a warm welcome to both of these ladies going forward and show some patience and understanding!!! Beginning Sept 1, 2026, all calls can be made to:
Sharon Whipkey at 540-533-3150 or
Carrie Whipkey at 540-532-0006 for future bookings. The new email is [email protected].
I will stop taking all calls beginning Sept 1, 2026 unless it’s about the events I am already committed to. Please join me in congratulating both of these ladies and with open arms just like you did for me almost 12 years ago!!! ❤️🚒
Also, be on the lookout for the new Millwood Event Center page as this one will be taken down.
