We ❤️ our incredible friends at Riverside Bohemian Wichita.

Hey neighbors, it's Sarah Jane the other half of operations here at Riverside Bohemian.

Here I am sixteen years ago. Pregnant with my third boy and on SNAP and WIC assistance.
I can tell you unequivocally that these services made it possible for me to feed myself and my family so that I can be here today in my attempts to feed so many more. I have the capacity to do what I do because I received these services off and on during the struggle to get to this point in my life.

EVERY. BODY. EATS.

I lived in Florida at this time and a sweet little downtown Irish pub always had bean soup for 99¢ so if me and the babies were hungry, we could have a nice sit down lunch without feeling like we shouldn't be there because we didn't have money.

I don't know how to make bean soup as good as theirs.

I also don't know what else to do other than what I've always done: SOMETHING. ANYTHING.

and so beginning Tuesday Nov. 11th we will have Pumpkin Soup available during all open hours by the cup for 99¢. Vegan/ gluten free and super nutritious.

We will also be giving away 1 mini pumpkin chocolate muffin with proof of your donation to the Kansas Food Bank.

All we have is each other for now and always. Thanks for being here, thanks for showing up.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS!!!

It’s that time of the year for the annual Button Design Contest! The winning design will be featured on all of the 2026 Wichita Pride Buttons which serve as your ticket into all Wichita Pride events. The design will also be featured on the t-shirts and tank-tops we have available at our events all 2026.

This year’s theme is: Survive and Thrive
Artists please read details below.
-Designs should either be: round 3.5” diameter button OR 3” by 2” rectangular button.
-ensure design is legible when silk screened onto shirts and other materials
-designs should be scalable (vector only), submitted in PDF or EPS format
-we place great value on our community’s skill and creativity. AI generated art will not be considered.

Submissions must be submitted by November 30th, 2025 to [email protected]

Thursday is Save a Life Day! We are partnering with our pals at Safe Streets Wichita for this day of action.
Catch our friends Kenna and June handing out free Nalaxone and overdose prevention information at a few of our favorite local stops throughout the day.
