The secret is out!

There’s just something about Soul Food on a Sunday… Today was the grand opening of MJ's catering And More inside the Empower shared space. Every Sunday they will be doing this soul food pop-up with things like Jamaican Style Oxtails, Meatloaf, Smothered or Fried Pork Chops, Chicken & Dressing, Wings, Greens, Cabbage, and Candied Yams. I went with the oxtails, greens, cabbage, cornbread, and a can of grape Crush. They were also giving out free pieces of cake for the first ten customers, I grabbed a piece of pistachio cake. Everything hit the spot, especially with the hot sauce that they had on the table. The oxtails were fall apart tender and had that deep beefy flavor that I enjoy. Make sure to check MJ’s out for Soul Food Sunday!
