What a pleasure it was for the DJ Express to entertain the mother/daughter dance for the Windsor Christian Academy. It happened on Saturday,11/15, at the East Brandywine Baptist Church, Downingtown, Pa. The event was incredible as the kids + moms danced to everything. Of course, as usual, the kids loved the Limbo + Cotton Eyed Joe the most. The Moms requested I teach the group how to country line dance which was also a big hit. I had the kids dance with their moms to the beautiful, IN MY DAUGHTER'S EYES by Martina McBride. No kids event is ever complete without the hula hoop contest so I made sure we gave them fun as they showed some nice moves competing. A big thank you goes out to Claire Philips who coordinated all the details with the DJ Express + made our job so much easier.

KARAOKE ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT: That's what Jim Whaley has done for friends + family for more than 10 yrs, + it was a pleasure for the DJ Express to be asked to entertain this year's party in North Jersey in Middletown, N. J. Everyone wore their favorite costumes + so many of this talented group sang such a wide range of music. Between the Karaoke the group did some hardy dancing to our dj's music which included some Salsa, Bachata & Merenque favorites as some in the group were Latino. The party was such a blast that the host + his wife Christie decided to extend the fun for a total of 6 hrs. Here's a video that approximates how some of the guests were dressed to the tilt.

Class Reunions is one of the specialties of the DJ Express and on Sat 10/25, we did a big one for almost 200 graduates + spouses of the Class of 1975 from DOWNINGTOWN HIGH. The event was held at St Anthony's Lodge in Downingtown + included a sumptuous + delicious dinner. The group's song list of requests was mostly all 70's music + our DJ played as many of them as possible for the 1st 2+ 1/2 hrs. During dance time the 70's continued but a number of the classmates also requested other song genres as well, like Elvis, which invigorated the crowd more than anything. Several rousing speeches were appreciated by the entire group. It really was a great time for everyone. Part of the reason everything went so well was because of the work of Lisa Lacek who made the DJs job so much easier by coordinating all the details. A big thanks goes out to Lisa + congratulations to the entire class of 75

Tonight Thursday, 10/30 was the DJ Express' third Halloween party in a row + Saturday, 11/1 will be our fourth. We did one in Pa., 2 in MD + the final one will be in N.J. close to N. Y. CITY. It appears we really do get around. All of the parties so far have been packed with people + have been so much fun. Thank you to all our customers who have made this a wonderful year for the DJ Express

What a pleasure tonight, 10/24, to entertain for a benefit for the internationally respected group, the TRI- STATE BIRD RESCUE + RESEARCH INC. This group does meaningful work like traveling the world over to help clean up the Oil Slicks that devastate our wildlife. I would say, this is a group that deserves our emotional + financial support. Tonight's event was held in the cavernous "Barn" in the Bellevue State Park. Over 100 donors + supporters came to support + celebrate this cause. As the DJ I played between the band sets + got 50 participants to dance + party. They all cheered when I announced the first dance, the Electric Slide, + from that point on the dance floor was packed. A big thanks goes out to Autumn Reiter, the Executive Director who coordinated all the details for the DJ + made my job so much easier.

Birthday Parties are always fun. Here's JIM from the DJ Express entertaining at Cindy Sager's Birthday Bash on Tuesday, 10/7 at the Elkton, Md VFW. The group had fun dancing all night + munching on the many goodies. Her friends made a fuss over Cindy + enjoyed dancing with her to Cindy's favorite song, Country Girl Shake It for Me. There's Cindy smiling, the 4th person standing from the left, surrounded by her friends. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CINDY!!!
