Keeping it real… I went down to work in the garden this afternoon, and my initial thoughts weren’t about the growth, accomplishments, and wins. They were of the weeds, the empty spots where flowers didn’t come back, the sprouting buds on too-short stems, the unfinished tasks and so much work with so little time. Then I noticed a butterfly enjoying the weeds on my compost pile, and my perspective changed. Today I’m going to try to focus on the joy my garden brings. There’s so much joy to be had, and not just in the garden. Today I’m having what parents used to call, an attitude adjustment! ☺️

Planting lisianthus plugs today! 1,500 to be exact!They don’t look like much now, but come July, this bed will be a sea of color! These tiny seedlings are slow, methodical growers, but they are worth every second of the wait. By July, these little greens will transform into stunning, rose-like blooms.
