Earlier this month, Vanguard attended our first B Corporation™ conference, BLD Southeast, to learn from and network with other companies doing business for good. Complete with targeted sessions and panels on topics relevant to B Corps on their journey to make a lasting impact, attendees heard words of encouragement from U.S. Representatives Houlahan and Raskin. This Hispanic Heritage Month, Vanguard was proud to be on the ground in Washington, DC, supporting media efforts for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s CHCI Annual Leadership Conference and 49th Annual Awards Gala.

These events brought together congressional leaders, advocates, changemakers and Latino leaders from across the country for conversations and celebrations centered on leadership, public service and the Latino community.

Behind the scenes, the Vanguard team supported media relations from start to finish — coordinating press, managing credentials, conducting reporter outreach, monitoring coverage and providing real-time communications support throughout the events.
